Hand signed limited edition print

"The tiki is a mystical figure with many interpretations of its meaning. Some believe it is symbolic of the first man in Māori legend, or the goddess of fertility, Hineteiwaiwa. Others see the tiki as a link to their ancestors. Whichever way you see it, this mythical figure is an icon that is unique to New Zealand and Māori cultural identity.
We hope you enjoy our artistic representation of the tiki, combining the traditional figure with postage stamps. It pays tribute to the way we used to communicate with friends and family, but also to New Zealand's history."
