We had a blast this passed month catching up with our regular loyalty club members and signing up new customers to our rebooted loyalty club. One of the most exciting aspects had to be our loyalty club giveaway! It really was our grandest giveaway yet, consisting of a six piece set of exclusive and completely one-off ceramics by the talented Charlie and Chrissie from Painted Pacific Pottery. We just drew the winner today and were pleased to announce that the prize was won by Tracey Bird, congratulations Tracey.
What a beautiful prize! The soft pink glaze was a special experimental tone into which scattered grains of Muriwai sand were suspended. The twin fantails were inspired by the soaring doves in the classic Blue Bird Wedgwood design and the honey Bee and Manuka blossom were inspired by our very own native flora and fauna. Chrissie and Charlie Seakins are currently based in Auckland’s Northcote Point where together they have been creating unique and mostly locally inspired ceramics for over 30 years.
